Conigen Bioscience is Exhibiting at Discovery on Target
Poster Presentations
CXCR4 and CXCR5 are receptors for chemokines CXCL12 and CXCL13. As GPCRs, they are challenging to produce as bioactive recombinant proteins. Conigen engineered the full-length CXCR4 or CXCR5 to display on virus-like nanoparticles (VLPs). The recombinant CXCR4 or CXCR5 on VLPs could bind their chemokine ligands, CXCL12 or CXCL13. These bioactive CXCR4 and CXCR5 VLP nanoparticles can be very useful as immunogens and antigens for drug discovery and for evaluating chemokine-receptor interactions. Download the Poster
It is challenging to develop antibodies against GPCRs for live cell surface staining. Protease-activated receptor-1 (PAR1) and Dopamine receptor D2 (DRD2) are Class A GPCRs. Using Conigen’s proprietary immunization platform, PAR1- or DRD2-specific monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) were generated from immune mice. The mAbs could stain PAR1 or DRD2 expressed on live cell surfaces by flow cytometry. These mAbs can be useful tools for PAR1 and DRD2 research and drug discovery. Download the Poster
