Human CXCR5 (C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 5) is a receptor for chemokine CXCL13, also known as BLR1, CD185, and MDR15. CXCR5 (CMP-24014) is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) with seven transmembrane domains. The human CXCR5 full length protein (amino acids Met1-Phe372; UniProt# P32302), displayed on Virus-Like Particles (VLPs), (CMP-24001) mimics the native protein conformation on the cell surface. The CXCR5 Virus-Like Particle (VLP), (CXCR5 CMP) is expressed in HEK293 cells. The CXCR5 CMP has potent binding to its ligand CXCL13 and the CXCR5-specific antibodies.
Product Name: CXCR5
UniProt #: P32302
Predicted Molecular Weight: N/A
Protein Construct: The human CXCR5 full length protein, displayed on Virus-Like Particles, and mimics the native protein conformation on the cell surface.

Background and Alternate Names

C-X-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CXCR5) is also known as CD185, Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1) and monocyte-derived receptor 15 (MDR15). CXCR-5 is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) for the C-X-C motif chemokine 13 (CXCL13). It enables T cells to migrate to lymph node and the B cell zones.

Alternate Names: BLR1, CD185, and MDR15
