Background and Alternate Names

Human G protein-coupled receptor 64 (GPR64), is a 7-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR). GPR64 is an orphan Class B GPCR. GPR64 has been found to be clinically significant for several cancers including overexpression in the Wnt signaling-dependent subgroup of medulloblastoma, ewing sarcomas, and carcinomas derived from endometrial tissue, prostate, kidney or lung. Human GPR64 protein has ~99% sequence homology with mouse GPR64.

Alternate Names: ADGRG2, EDDM6, HE6, TM7LN2, adhesion G protein-coupled receptor G2, CBAVDX
