Human CXCR5 (C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 5) is a receptor for chemokine CXCL13, also known as BLR1, CD185, and MDR15. CXCR5 (CMP-24014) is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) with seven transmembrane domains. The human CXCR5 full length protein (amino acids Met1-Phe372; UniProt# P32302), displayed on nanoparticles (CMP-24001) mimics the native protein conformation on the cell surface. The CXCR5 nanoparticle (CXCR5 CMP) is expressed in HEK293 cells. The CXCR5 CMP has potent binding to its ligand CXCL13 and the CXCR5-specific antibodies.

Background

C-X-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CXCR5) is also known as CD185, Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1) and monocyte-derived receptor 15 (MDR15). CXCR-5 is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) for the C-X-C motif chemokine 13 (CXCL13). It enables T cells to migrate to lymph node and the B cell zones.
